FAQs
How long are your sessions?
My standard sessions are an hour, but some of my other sessions are from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Everything is tailored to fit my clients needs, even my wedding packages!
How do I book?
Fill out my contact form and I will send you my booking link. A retainer is due to hold your date.
Do you photograph events?
I do photograph events! Since each event is different, pricing for that will be based off several factors like time limit, event, coverage needed. I tailor my services to fit your needs for events so you get the exact memories you want captured!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based out of Hagerstown, IN. Yes, I do travel! I serve all of East Central Indiana including Hagerstown, Richmond, Cambridge City, New Castle, Connersville, and Muncie. I can travel further for a small fee.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 6 weeks (more often than not less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
Each of my sessions is different, based on time and the occasion. I give a bottom line of images I can capture within that specific timeframe, but sometimes I include more photos. Those are your memories and I don't want you to miss out!
Are more people extra?
I do charge extra for people outiside the immediate family (Mom, Dad, and Children), and for those families that have more than 6 people. A lot goes into coordinating larger family sessions, and there are ALWAYS more photos because the posing combinations have increased.
Do you help with posing?
Yes. Absolutely yes. I guide you through everything so you never feel stiff or awkward. I bring silly games for kids, and yes, I will make a fart joke if it gets a real smile.
What if my kids don't listen or get wild?
Perfect. That is real life. I never stress the small stuff. I let kids play, explore, and be themselves. Some of the best photos come from the chaos.
What should we wear?
I help you with color palettes and outfits before your session. Soft neutral tones always photograph beautifully. You can send me outfit ideas and I will help you choose what looks best.
When should I book my newborn session?
The sooner the better. I book newborns by due date and schedule the exact session once baby arrives.
How old should baby be?
The sweetest sleepy photos happen within the first two weeks, but I can photograph newborns up to six weeks old.
Do you provide props and wraps?
Yes. I have wraps, bows, outfits, buckets, baskets, blankets, and everything we need for warm dreamy newborn photos.
Can parents and siblings be in the newborn photos?
Always. Family and sibling shots are included in full newborn sessions! (This does not apply to newborn mini sessions)
